PalWaypoint map data and artwork — independent sources Retrieved September 30, 2026. Location positions, English names and encounter metadata: Arkive game-data extraction, copyright Yihao Liu (tc-imba), CC BY-NC 4.0. https://github.com/arkive-games/arkive/tree/master/tools/apps/palworld/maps https://data-palworld.tc-imba.com/markers/MainWorld.json https://data-palworld.tc-imba.com/markers/WorldTree.json English names: locales/en-US/markers/.json at the same endpoint. Modified: mapped game types to PalWaypoint categories, converted records to compact arrays, excluded habitat sample points, and joined English names. All 407 effigies: PalDex's direct game-asset extraction. https://github.com/catrenelle/PalDex/tree/master/data Source actor identifiers are retained. Its code license does not transfer ownership of the underlying game data or artwork. All 1,816 egg spawners, 59 camps and 22 Kinship Peaches: https://github.com/oMaN-Rod/palworld-save-pal/tree/main/data/json Files eggs_spawners.json, camps.json and kinship_peach.json. Game-extracted instance identifiers are retained; eggs are grouped by region. Chest previews: independently extracted Arkive item acquisition tables. https://data-palworld.tc-imba.com/items.json Probabilities are kept separately by loot area and chest grade. The source does not fix each location's grade, appearance odds or respawn time. Additional resource nodes, fishing salvage locations, and dungeon entrances: PalDB's public game map data, https://paldb.cc/en/Palpagos_Islands and https://paldb.cc/en/The_World_Tree . Source data literals: https://paldb.cc/js/map_data_en.js and https://paldb.cc/js/treemap_data_en.js Parsed only JSON data literals; no site application code was copied or run. Duplicate locations within the same type are omitted. Source indices and input hashes are retained for reproducibility. Game artwork is Pocketpair's. Map textures and calibration: PalDex game-extracted map.webp and tree.webp. https://github.com/catrenelle/PalDex/tree/master/frontend/assets Textures uniformly reduced from 8192 to 4096 pixels, without cropping. Coordinate conversion: https://github.com/palworldlol/palworld-coord Terrain elevation: Palworld Save Pal's game-extracted DEM tiles, with its GPL-3.0 license notices bundled in terrain/LICENSE.txt and terrain-tree/LICENSE.txt. https://github.com/oMaN-Rod/palworld-save-pal Region footprints: direct read-only recovery from installed Palworld Steam build 25246127. All 123 named WorldMapAreaData entries join localized names and placed box/sphere components with complete parent transforms. All eight box corners are projected; spheres use 96-point footprints. Smallest footprint wins where regions overlap. Cave footprints are not surface entrances. World Tree localized area names match travel points, but their boundaries remain unverified. No ambient-audio volume boundaries were substituted. Historical region-kind classification: Arkive game data, CC BY-NC 4.0. https://github.com/arkive-games/arkive Underlying game data and geometry belong to Pocketpair. Category badges: original PalWaypoint compositions using Lucide Static 1.48.0 pictograms, ISC license in icons/palwaypoint/LICENSE-lucide.txt. Pal portraits and numbered roster: https://paldb.cc/en/Pals Item portraits: https://resource-palworld.tc-imba.com/icons/ Per-item source URLs are listed in icons/item-art/sources.json. Capture sphere controls are original CSS artwork. Every active map record contains an independent source identifier. Previous IDs are retained solely for matching existing browser progress; no previous location labels, loot previews or imported icon files are retained. Coverage reflects these sources, not every location in the game. Palworld names, game data and underlying artwork belong to Pocketpair, Inc. This is an unofficial fan project. Source code licenses do not transfer ownership of game artwork. No third-party application code was copied. Direct recovery on September 30, 2026: installed Palworld Steam build 25246127. Read 9,982 map packages without extraction failures; resolved scene-component attachment transforms and instance/class-default overrides. Actor/package IDs and source heights are retained in the recovery audit. Game loot weights are reported per slot and grade; these do not establish world spawn probability. Extracted independently with CUE4Parse (Apache-2.0), https://github.com/FabianFG/CUE4Parse , and PalworldModding mappings, https://github.com/PalworldModding/UsefulFiles . Game assets belong to Pocketpair. No competitor map content supplies the recovered data. October 1, 2026 recovery, same installed build: 83 resource-group centers derived from actual scene attachments, and quest classifications joined to validated quest nodes in NPC dialogue graphs. Wild Pal placement and day/night habitat data come directly from DT_PalWildSpawner, DT_PalSpawnerPlacement and DT_PaldexDistributionData. Rendering caps each habitat cloud at 800 points; raw counts and full game exports remain in the local audit. Spawn row weights are not unconditional encounter probabilities. Arkive's independent extractor is a reference for game table joins and actor classes: https://github.com/arkive-games/arkive/tree/master/tools/apps/palworld October 1 cave recovery: 18 cave entrance areas derived independently from authored game spline control points, baked tunnel-floor start caps and corridor boundary vertices. Seventeen names resolve through game region and English localization tables. Positions are approximate and not checked in gameplay. Approach endpoints may precede the visible rock opening. Full transforms, mesh vertices and package hashes remain in the local audit. October 2 spawn heatmaps: weighted encounter groups and all character slots are read from the same installed-build DT_PalWildSpawner and joined to DT_PalSpawnerPlacement. Positive-weight NPC and non-catalog groups remain in the denominator. Day and night weights are normalized separately over eligible rows; All mode displays both results without averaging. Multi-character rows share one group chance. Overlapping spawn pools are displayed separately. These percentages are conditional group-selection weight shares, not guarantees of a world encounter. Spawn caps and world state can affect actual encounters. Heat smooths confirmed common field placements weighted by their pool shares; it is approximate, not an exact spawn boundary or percentage scale. Area radii join RadiusType to BP_PalGameSetting defaults (S/M/L) or StaticRadius. Hovering outside a radius can show a clearly labeled nearby field area. Paldeck-only clouds are excluded: they do not establish a spawn. Pals without placed field, dungeon or boss rows are labeled "No wild spawns recorded". Boss and dungeon pools now join positive native rows to their placements. BOSS_ character IDs map to their corresponding base species. Dungeon pins represent entrances and possible interior encounter pools, not spawn positions inside the cave. Separate dungeon pools are never averaged together. Export hashes are retained in pal-spawns.json; hashes identify extracted JSON. The installed BP_PalGameSetting CaptureExpBonusMaxCount is 5. Manual completion labels use 5/5 without altering saved capture-state keys or values.
